Asmongold has on two separate occasions, once 7 years ago on the Asmongold channel, and re-iterated 3 years ago on the zackrawrr channel that if his twitch channel never took off, he would have utilized government welfare to play games all day.
Recently, this was called into question due to his shift into more right leaning politics and his support of Donald Trump.
