Trump unleashed one of his "Truths" this morning detailing a plan as to how he was going to restore TikTok from it's banned state and actually offered assurances that he would like to see the US Government control a 50% stake in it. With the assertion that it could be worth trillions.
There's no easy way to say this. But Republicans are typically against state media. It would also be a massive spending commitment as TikTok is worth around $100bn and paying $50bn would see it cost more than it cost Elon Musk to buy Twitter.com
All in all, absolutely horrible deal, and entirely against his manifesto of cutting spending with the D.O.G.E department.
